Itinerary

DAY 1 Arrival in Jammu

Upon your arrival at Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, embark on a local sightseeing tour, visiting the renowned Mughal Gardens—Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love). Conclude the day with a serene Shikara ride on Dal Lake, absorbing the tranquil ambiance.

After breakfast, journey to Pahalgam, known as the ‘Valley of Shepherds.’ En route, pause at the saffron fields of Pampore and the historic Awantipura Ruins. Upon reaching Pahalgam, immerse yourself in the town’s natural beauty, with optional visits to Betaab Valley or a leisurely stroll along the Lidder River.

Post-breakfast, proceed to Gulmarg, celebrated for its lush meadows and as a premier skiing destination. Upon arrival, consider taking the Gulmarg Gondola, one of the world’s highest cable cars, to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The remainder of the day is yours to explore or relax amidst the scenic beauty.

Dedicate this day to further explore Gulmarg. Engage in activities such as golfing at the world’s highest golf course, embarking on nature walks, or simply relishing the serene environment. During winter months, Gulmarg transforms into a haven for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts.

After a leisurely breakfast, return to Srinagar. Upon arrival, check into a traditional houseboat on Dal Lake. Later, visit the Shankaracharya Temple, perched atop a hill, offering sweeping views of the city and lake. In the evening, explore the local markets to shop for authentic Kashmiri handicrafts and souvenirs.

Embark on a day trip to Sonmarg, the ‘Meadow of Gold.’ En route, marvel at the picturesque landscapes. In Sonmarg, you can opt for a pony ride to the Thajiwas Glacier or simply bask in the area’s pristine beauty. Return to Srinagar by evening for overnight stay.

 

Following breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport for your onward journey, carrying with you cherished memories of Kashmir’s enchanting landscapes and experiences.

Prepare Before You Travel
  • All guests must present valid identification at the time of booking and upon arrival. Please note that PAN cards are not accepted as valid address proof.

  • Hotel accommodations are subject to availability. If the listed options are unavailable, guests will be placed in properties of similar standards.

  • Any damages or breakages at the accommodation will be charged to the guest.

  • Should a guest choose to leave the trip midway, all subsequent expenses will be the guest’s responsibility. Neither the operator nor Quicktrip will be liable for such decisions or any associated refunds.

  • It’s advisable to carry dry snacks, such as granola bars, and a refillable water bottle.

  • Additional activities, including ropeways or cable cars, are not included in the tour package and will incur extra costs borne by the customer.

Policy for Confirmation
  • Within 24 hours following a successful reservation, the client receives an email with a confirmation voucher.
  • If the customer’s selected timeslots are not available, a new confirmation voucher will be emailed to them along with an alternate timetable of their choosing.
  • A complete refund will be issued if the customer decides to cancel their reservation prior to confirmation.
  • Within ten business days, the relevant refund amount will be processed.
  • The traveller’s Quicktrip wallet will receive any necessary reimbursements.
  • A cancellation fee equal to 25.0% of the total booking cost will be assessed if the cancellation is made 30 days or more prior to the departure date.
  • Cancellations made 15–30 days prior to the trip date will incur cancellation fees equal to 50.0% of the total booking cost.
  • The whole booking amount will be levied as cancellation fees if the cancellation is made less than 15 days prior to the trip date.
  • Certain excursions or events may be cancelled due to unanticipated weather, labour disputes, governmental regulations, or any other uncontrollable factors. In these situations, other workable choices will be offered. There won’t be a financial refund, though.
